Greg
Favata
- lead guitar
and vocals

A longtime
veteran of many Chicago area bands and an avid oldies aficionado,
Greg finally gets a chance to indulge in his lifelong passion for
classic pop music with The Renditions. He sings medleys of songs by
Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond and Buddy Holly as well as playing lead
guitar on the slow grinder, “Sleepwalk”. He also belts the John
Lennon vocal to Jerry’s “Paul” on several great Beatle tunes. When
The Renditions aren’t playing, Greg leads his own Orchestra. Check
‘em out at

Kristi
Alsip
- lead and
harmony vocals

Aside from
vocalizing on songs like Dusty Springfield’s “Son of a Preacher
Man”, Linda Ronstadt’s "Heat Wave” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Say You Love
Me” with The Renditions, Kristi also lends her talents to various
other projects. She sings in the jazz duo, Blue Room, performs at
wedding and corporate gigs in The Greg Favata Orchestra and belts
out the blues with Crawford’s Daughter. By day, she’s employed at
Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry. During the week, she acts
in local theater productions, and also lends her voice to various
advertising spots.

Jerry
Soukal
- guitar and vocals

As a veteran rhythm
guitarist/vocalist with a three octave range, Jerry has been on
the local music scene for many years. He has played in numerous
Chicago bands, duo’s and even performed as a solo act back in
the 70’s. As a member of The Renditions, he can bring back the
voice of Frankie Valli, the mellow falsetto of Brian Wilson, as
well as the raunchy sounds of Bob Seger. He loves playing all
the great oldies, and thoroughly enjoys singing harmonies with
Kris, Greg and Neal.

Neal
Carpenter
- bass guitar
and vocals

Neal’s rock solid and fluent bass
lines provide the necessary undercurrent for the Renditions’
very danceable rhythms. Neal began playing alongside Greg way
back in 1980, starting with the band Blue Rose (country), then
Yesterday’s Gold (oldies) and finally Pursuit (a little bit of
everything). With the Renditions, Neal adds harmonies as well as
singing lead on Neil Sedaka’s “Breaking Up is Hard to Do” and
audience favorite, “Fun, Fun Fun”. Neal’s main role on stage,
however, is to needle Greg, and give him a hard time in between
songs. The crowd seems to enjoy it as much as he does.

Gary Greenman
- keyboards
In
1966, at age 15, Gary joined a group called The Revelles
with guitarist
Bruce Mattey and went on the road all summer to play up in Michigan.
He played with Bruce through 1968 before studying music at
Northeastern University in the late 60’s. From ’68 to ’74, he joined
the Air Guard Band at O’Hare Field, playing brass in the marching
band and piano in the quartet and also touring Europe. In 1969, he
played with the show group, Five Deep, doubling on brass and Hammond
B-3 organ. After a retirement of 7-8 years, he attended a show of
the newly revamped classic Chicago band, New Colony Six and was
surprised to see his old friend, Bruce, playing with the group.
Bruce asked him to join as the keyboardist, he accepted and, when
not working with The Renditions, he still
plays with the NC6 to this day.

John
Radowski
- drums

A long time player on
the Chicago scene in the 90’s (with Stevie Starlite), John took some
well-deserved time off from the music business a few years ago.
Finally, his wife and friends advised him to brush off his drum
sticks and get out there and play again. The band is really glad he
did. He lays down a rockin’ backbeat that fills the dance floor at
every Renditions’ performance.
